Amazon Payment Services (once PayFort) takes cards on its own page. Its accounts are opened through its sales team.

In Amazon Payment Services

  1. In your back office, open Integration Settings, then Security Settings. Copy the Merchant Identifier, the Access Code, the SHA Request Phrase and the SHA Response Phrase. Leave the SHA Type as it is: Shoply works out which one you chose.
  2. Note the one currency your account charges in.

The feedback addresses (optional)

With them, payments are confirmed sooner. Without them, Shoply still follows each payment, a little later.
  1. Open Shoply’s Amazon Payment Services dialog and copy the Callback URL it shows.
  2. In your back office, open the Technical Settings tab and press Add New Technical Settings. Choose Redirection as the Integration Type, and press Activate.
  3. Paste the Callback URL as both the Notification URL and the Direct Transaction Feedback.
  4. Set Send Response Parameters to Yes, and press Save Changes.
Shoply sends the address a buyer comes back to with each payment, so what you put in Redirection URL is not used.

In Shoply

  1. In your Shoply dashboard, open Settings, then Payment Methods.
  2. Under Add a Payment Method, find Amazon Payment Services and press Connect.
  3. Paste the four values into the boxes of the same names, and type your account’s currency into Currency, as three letters: AED, SAR, USD.
  4. Press Test Connection to try what you pasted, then Connect App.
Saving checks them with Amazon Payment Services and refuses one it does not take, at its box. Test Connection says whether the account is a sandbox one, and which SHA type it uses. An account that charges only in KWD, QAR, BHD, OMR or JOD cannot be connected. How Amazon Payment Services works once it is connected, at the checkout and on an order, is in Payment methods.
