What is where
The rest of this page is the four parts no other guide covers.
Delivery emails
Every paid order sends its buyer one email with what they bought. Two things in it are yours.
In the email the first button is filled, and every other one is a link in your store’s colour beside it.
Two are always added after yours and cannot be removed: View Your Order, which opens the buyer’s customer panel, and Leave a Review, which opens the order’s own page.
The email itself is plain on purpose: one white card with your logo at its head, and each key in a pale box to copy from. Under the card are the socials you set in Links, as small icons (not under Cart Recovery’s and Win-Back’s, where they would make the email read more like an advert), and then the small print. It is set in the reader’s own device font, and nothing in it needs a light background, so it stays readable in a mail app’s dark mode. Every email in your store’s name (the receipt, an invoice, the first-order coupon, a sign-in code) looks the same way, but for Cart Recovery’s first two and Win-Back’s first, which are written as a short note.
Delivery emails and invoices are always in English, whatever language your store and your buyer read.
Order settings
Under Payment Options, three things that happen after an order is placed. Unpaid Orders says how long an order nobody pays is kept before it is cancelled: see Payment methods. It is saved as you choose it. Automatic Reviews, on for a new store, gives an order with no review five stars seven days after payment, marked as automatic. See Reviews. First-Order Coupon is a thank-you for somebody’s first order: a single-use code for their next one.
Each code works once, and appears on the Coupons & Sales page.
Policies
Terms of Service and Refund Policy are yours to write. A buyer has to accept them at the checkout before they can pay, and both are pages of your store. Each is a row that says whether it is written. Edit, or Add while it is empty, opens it to write in; Done closes it, and Save Changes keeps it. A policy you leave empty is not shown. The Checkout Kit shows no tick and no link to either: there the checkout is on your own page, and your terms are yours to show on it.
Notifications
Two ways of being told, each with its own switches.By email
Send Test, beside the address, sends a sample delivery email there with a made-up product and key, the way a real one is sent. Nothing is added to your orders or your coupons. One every five minutes.
On Discord
Switch Notify Me on Discord on and paste a webhook URL from your server: Server Settings, then Integrations, then Webhooks. Then pick what is posted.
Send Test, beside the webhook, posts a sample alert to the URL in the box, saved or not. Five in five minutes.
A webhook URL is kept encrypted and is never shown again: paste a new one to replace it, or press Remove Webhook.
This is for alerts in a Discord channel. To have your own server told when something happens, use webhooks.
