# Set up OxaPay

> Where your OxaPay merchant API key is

OxaPay takes crypto on your checkout.

## In OxaPay

1. Sign in to OxaPay and open [Merchant Service](https://app.oxapay.com/merchant-service).
2. Fill in the form and press **Generate Merchant API Key**. Copy the key.
3. On the same page, choose which coins you accept.

Use the merchant key. OxaPay's payout key is for sending money out, and Shoply never asks for it.

## In Shoply

1. In your Shoply dashboard, open **Settings**, then **Payment Methods**.
2. Under **Add a Payment Method**, find **OxaPay** and press **Connect**.
3. Paste the key into **Merchant API Key**.
4. Press **Test Connection** to try what you pasted, then **Connect App**.

**Test Connection** says whether the key works and how many coins it takes.
